Through our all staff, mechanical vehicles and equipment we try making Istanbul to be a cleaner city. Cleaning vehicles and teams work at both sides of Istanbul studiously. For this purpose squares, areas, tunnels and barriers are washed by specially designed vehicles; also, hard to reach canals, sidewalks, spaces, overpasses mobile teams make cleaning manually.
Washing and sweeping of arteries and squares are realized by vehicles equipped with the latest technology, and that are transiently traceable by Waste Management Environment Control Center. While working by environmentally-conscious, lower noised and lower emitting vehicles, particles poised are not given back to the environment to protect air quality.

In Istanbul, everyday app. 210.000 m² are washed and presented for use of the citizens. Backwater remained from washing is collected again by mechanical sweeping vehicles and the squares are cleaned through studious efforts every day. These efforts are maintained for a cleaner Istanbul and to increase quality of life in the city.
By specially designed vehicles owned by İSTAÇ, barriers, baffle traffic plates and tunnels are cleaned. Through these periodical cleanings, it is both prevented spoiling city view by dust and dirt layers on barriers, plates and tunnels, and it is also provided longer life by reducing the effect of abrasives.
Sweeping and washing of the arteries and squares are realized by vehicles equipped with the latest technology, and that are transiently traceable by Waste Management Environment Control Center. The city is monitored by cameras through Environment Control Center, and cleaning needs emerged are managed centrally.
